A beret is a soft round cap, usually of wool felt with a flat crown, which is used by men and women and traditionally associated with France. Saint Bracelet Berets are worn by many military and police units, and in some countries are particularly associated with elite units, which often use helmets more unusual colors (like the brown of Commonwealth parachute troops and the German KSK Kommando Spezialkr FTE, the green of the Royal Marines Commandos, French Commands (Verts Brets) and U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets), the scarlet of the elite Soviet interior troops (Spetsnaz), the beige or brown Commonwealth special forces units (SAS) and U.S. Army Rangers, black or width of French Alpine Chasseurs, the first military unit berets worn. The beret when properly worn fits snugly around the head and the soft crown can be shaped in a variety of ways that are often pushed aside (custom requires local side usually, but there is no universal rule). Berets were originally worn by Basque peasants in the north (the border area of southern France, and northern Spain) and were made of wool. Today berets are normally woven wool, wool felt, acrylic or fibre.Uniform berets feature a headband or sweatband attached to wool, or made of leather or silk, sometimes with a cord that allows the user to adjust his hat. The cords are, according to custom, either tied off and cut / stuck on the left, or to hang. The beret is often adorned with an insignia of the CAP, either in fabric or metal. Some helmets have a piece of buckram or other reinforcement in the position where it is intended identification card to be used. Berets are also often lined with silk, imitation silk, or other material. Although in some militaries the liner is removed to model (called "training") of the beret, this is usually done without permission from a superior officer, because it prevents head-warming capacities. In military berets, the tape is rejected (which makes it visible), but in the style of the beret (also used by military units like the hunters selected Ardennais Belgian), so is twofold in berets have been a component of the uniforms of many armed forces worldwide since the middle of the 20th century. A blue beret is the international symbol of Nations United forces peacekeeping. Military berets are usually pulled to the right, but the armies of some European countries (including France) have influenced attraction to the left. The use of helmets, as military headdress dates back to the creation of the French Alpine hunters in the 1880s. These mountain troops were issued with a new style of uniform which included several features that were very practical and advanced by the standards of the time, in particular the large blue beret and flexible maintained (see below). This was so unknown outside of France that had to be described in a free British in 1911 as "a hat sort of tam O'Shanter. "Berets have features that make them very attractive for the military: They are cheap and easy to make in large quantities, can be manufactured in a wide range of colors to enhance branch or regimental esprit de corps, which can be rolled and stuffed into a pocket without damage, and can used with headphones (this is one of the reasons why tank crews came to adopt the beret). However, there are so useful in field conditions, a soldier infantry, as they do not offer protection for the face against sun and rain that peaked or wide brimmed hat does. The beret was found particularly useful as a uniform for armored crew members, and the British Tank Corps (later Royal Tank Corps) adopted the headdress as early as 1918. AFV German teams in the 1930s also adopted a beret with the addition of a padded crash helmet inside. The color black became popular as the crew touch tank as they do not show oil stains collected within the interior of a vehicle. Black Berets are still used by armored regiments throughout the Commonwealth. Berets have become the default military headdress of the late 20s and early 21a, and the cocked hat, ros, caps and cap were at different early times. The beret is now used by military personnel elements of most nations around the world. All three have major outlet was the United States, Russia and China (CPM) – have all followed the example of other armies in adopting berets. About the Author:
